I wanted to scan with Microtek Scanwizard5 on Vista but it couldn't find my scanner, however my scanner is correctly installed (because I can see it on the Device Manager and I can import with Paint but I want to use Scanwizard). Can anyone help me, please?

One big reason that could cause this issue is related to compatibility. Microtek ScanWizard 5 is a very old application. I've checked its interface and the release date. Although you might have the possibility to install it on newer operating systems, the detection feature could be broken.
Try using VueScan or iCopy for better compatibility. You can access their homepages using the links below.
I´ve been scanning multiple pdf, after about 200 pages scanwizard froze after pc-mouse was pluged of. I had to restart the computer. The file is there and appears as pdf. It´s not empty cause it´s size is about 35 MB. But if I try to open it, there is a message saying: "Error [pdf-structure 40]: Invalide reference table (xref)".

You can restart the scanning process and remove the corrupted old files so that they won't interfere with new scanning session.
I have an old Microtek X12USL scanner that has done everything over the years. However, one day after installing Windows 10, I'm being told that there is no driver for it, not wanting to replace the it just yet. Are there any drivers for Windows 10 yet. If so, where can I download them from?
Hope to hear back from you.

I've searched the web, but didn't find anything about it on the official website. The downloads section provides no downloads for this product which could also mean it has been discontinued.
No, ScanWizard 5 does not run on OS X 10.11.

There is one application that contains the drivers as well and it's called: VueScan. You can download a trial to see if it supports your scanner through the following link: https://www.hamrick.com/vuescan/microtek_scanmaker_x12usl.html
